Artist deadlines – October

The leaves might be falling and the weather unpredicatble, but the art word is alive and buzzing with activity. The Other Art Fair, Frieze and the Affordable Art Fair all take place this month, as well as countless opportunities.

Highlight opportunity this month is The Guardian Illustration Prize. They’re on the hunt for emerging artists to submit work (for free) for a chance to have your illustration on tote bags, which will be handed out at Glastonbury Festival. Pretty cool prize! This year’s theme is ‘hope’ and the winner will get an £8K commission. Deadline is 11 October, so good luck!
