If you’re into watercolours then The Sunday Times Watercolour Competition is a no brainer. One of the largest and most prestigious watercolour competitions in the UK, it celebrates skill and originality. Deadline is 17 June.
Another highlight is the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize. Previously the Jerwood Drawing Prize, this competition celebrates the breadth of contemporary drawing practice within the UK, and allows drawing practitioners to showcase their work alongside other leading contemporary artists and makers in the field.
