Lets illustrate the s##t out of London!

What is there not to love about Illustration?!

And the London Illustration Fair is the best place for it! The fair is an exciting and lively event that brings together up and coming artists in the areas of print, graphics and illustration, and puts them all under one glorious venue. What’s even more awesome is that there are two fairs throughout the year, so if you miss one your guaranteed to catch the same level of awesomeness at the other.

The Summer festival, is just that, a FESTIVAL! It shows off inspiring collectives, companies, galleries and creative start-ups that are making an impact on the creative scene. Usually at the Hoxton Arches it’s quite a small but sweet affair but the Winter show was massive this year.

If you didn’t catch it, the fair took place at the Bargehouse on Southbank, across all 3 floors! And for just £5 a ticket it is always worth it!

To the brim with juicy, eye popping illustrations from emerging artists and collectives, selling works at discounted prices, this Winter Fair did not disappoint! I’m a huge fan of Lucille Clerc’s screen-prints, and I was ecstatic to finally purchase myself 2 gorgeous ‘Jungle Book’ editions and she kindly threw in ‘Amours’, a print from her series of love letters from 19th Century writers.

Mulling over my mulled wine, I wandered around the pop-up shops showing the freshest creative agencies and their selective prints and products, and was amazed by the quality and standard on show! These are just some highlights of the day. Can’t wait for the next one!
